Engine, chassis, bodywork and electrical system have been completely restored to bring them back to their original condition.
Other parts such as the interior or the running gear have been completely updated.
Throughout the process, the cleaning of all the components is very present, but the first step of each restoration is a deep cleaning, these cars have been accumulating dirt for more than 30 years and it is not easy to get rid of it.
Disassemble
This is probably one of the simplest processes of the entire restoration but it is key to do it correctly. All our vehicles are completely disassembled, because to make a quality restoration you have to examine each component screw by screw.
Engine
Like the rest of the car's components, the gearbox and engine restoration process begins with a comprehensive wash and subsequent disassembly. With all the classified pieces, a selection is made of those that can be restored and those that cannot. Pistons, connecting rods, gaskets and more wear parts are replaced with new ones. Components such as the cylinder head, radiator or cylinders in most cases are restored and if not replaced by new ones.
Body & Chassis
The vast majority of Land Rovers have been used to work in the snow, in the fields or on the beach. This means that a large part of its parts are rusty.
The bodywork process begins with the chassis from which all the components are removed in order to thoroughly treat its rust and eliminate it completely. The affected parts are often replaced by new ones handmade. Once repaired it is treated and painted to survive another 40 years.
Exactly the same thing happens with the elements of the bodywork, they are sanded and polished to the maximum to be later repaired, treated and painted.
Assembly
This is probably one of the most delicate restoration processes but also one of the most rewarding. Everything begins to take shape and the endless parts and components look like a car again. Doubtless the most exciting and most tense part is the first time you try to start the new engine.
Details
Undoubtedly, the small details are what make the difference. In this last process, new components such as Bluetooth audio, wooden floors and the icing on the cake, which is the entire inside upholstered in leather, are installed.
